Veritas Association Management seeks an Education Project Coordinator for its growing Education Program & Accreditation Department serving a variety of medical specialty society clients.

Position Summary

The primary responsibility of the Education Coordinator is to support the Education & Accreditation Department Program Managers with various projects including accreditation documentation, speaker management, abstract management, committee support, among other duties. This is an opportunity to learn all there is to know about program management and medical accreditation working with a seasoned team with opportunities for growth.

Position Responsibilities

Essential functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with the coordination of abstract and speaker management for client events.
  • Apply for continuing education approvals for applicable programs.
  • Maintain accurate records for education programs.
  • Develop program evaluations and compile responses.
  • Assist with customer service emails and phone calls related to education programs.
  • Assist in supporting committee work
  • Collaborate on the development of new client initiatives
  • Assist with virtual client events


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Non-profit meeting coordination experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including customer/member service experience
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)
  • Ability to work in and learn web-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications
  • Responsive, efficient, and effective in a fully remote work setting
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficiency with project management
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience providing daily support to customers
  • Passion for providing a superior experience to customers
  • Experience working with databases and data collection systems
  • Ability to learn and develop mastery of new technology quickly
  • Flexible and able to shift gears (projects) as needed
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to meet established and emerging deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working at an association or nonprofit
  • Experience with AMS systems & Abstract Management Systems
